The Carpenter
The Carpenter is an exciting golf tournament format that includes several games
in one round of golf. It was started in 2007 at Heather Ridge Country Club (now
named Golf Club At Heather
Ridge) in Aurora, Colorado. Since its inception we have constantly improved
our format to become the fairest golf game around - golfers with handicaps from
0 to 24 play on an even playing field with no need for flights, maximizing your
pots. Currently we have 9 different games that are played at once, plus a championship
and a city championship.

Championship
7.5% out of every entry fee during a season goes into a Championship Pot. At the
end of every season the top 8 golfers play for this pot (has ranged from $600.00
to $1,750.00).
City Championship
2.5% out of every entry fee from every league participating, during a season goes
into the City Championship Pot. At the end of every season the top 8 golfers from
each league play for this pot (2012 will be the 1st year for this tournament)

It’s easy to run a tournament
- Print out “Teammates Selection” sheet
- Set out “Teammates Selection” sheet and envelope to collect entry fees, in the pro
shop
- Play golf
- Enter gross scores only (computer calculates all games and payouts automatically)
- Pay winners
Other Responsiblities
- Enter new golfers (one time per golfer)
- Change golfers HDCP indexes as they change
